7 LOAS:
PRINCIPLES OF VODOU
Unlock the Sacred Science of Vodou
"Many who attended my presentation at the African Echoes conference in New Jersey, circa 1980, requested a written compilation of my teachings. I clearly remember Brother Inuni from Guyana urging me to document this knowledge. Now, decades later, I honor that request. Thank you, Brother Inuni.
7 Lwas or Principles of Vodou is a gateway to understanding Vodou’s cosmology, spirituality, and profound connection to the universe. This book captures the essence of my original teachings, infused with the wisdom and experience I have gained over the years. Here, you will explore the foundational principles of Vodou as both a spiritual practice and a transformative force.
This work is designed to help you harness the energy of the Lwas for inner health, wealth, and most importantly, collective power. My deepest wish is that every reader of this text gains the right knowledge to elevate themselves and their community, ensuring that the next seven generations surpass the accomplishments of our ancestors from Khemit, Nubia, and Ayiti—at least seven times over.
Let this book be your guide in rediscovering the sacred science of Vodou, a legacy passed down through the ages, a map to self-awareness, liberation, and spiritual mastery.
From my heart to yours,
Professor Bayyinah Bello"
